Description
Instinctively, we often associate a large animal to be aggressive and dangerous. But this is rarely the case. When animals are startled or feel threatened, the response is flee or fight. This would naturally look more intimidating in larger characters. The African Elephants are the largest animals on land. They are however, not an aggressive species. They often charge when inconsiderately disturbed. Even then the first time is always a false or warning charge. This young bull was feeding when we first saw him in the distance. Instead of trying to get close immediately, we decided to sit and wait at a safe distant in our vehicle. Eventually he decided to move on and walked right past us, slowly and calmly, like they always do.
